How does the spin wheel work?
Tap the wheel and WhereAt randomly picks one of 8 nearby places for you — bars, restaurants, cafés, outdoor spots and more. Each segment is a real place pulled from your area, sorted by distance. If the pick doesn't feel right, just spin again. You can also use Themed Wheels (Night Out, Morning Chill, Date Night…) to narrow the vibe.
Can I save favorites?
Yes. Tap the heart icon on any place to add it to your Favorites list. You can save as many as you like. There's also a Spin Favs mode — the wheel only picks from places you've already saved, so it's perfect for when you want to revisit somewhere you love.
How do I change the language?
Open your Profile tab and tap the language toggle. WhereAt supports English and Slovenian. The change applies instantly — no restart needed.
How is my location used?
WhereAt uses your device location only to show places near you and calculate distance. Location data is processed on your device and the request to our servers — it's never sold or shared with third parties for advertising. You can revoke location access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services → WhereAt.
How do I delete my account?
Open your Profile tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, favorites, and spin history from our servers within 30 days. If you'd rather have us handle it, email whereatapp@proton.me from your registered address and we'll take care of it for you.
